This run through the American River Parkway is fed by the release from Folsom Dam (Sacramento County, California, USA). The "remarkable scenic, recreational, geologic, fish and wildlife, historic, cultural or other similar values" of the American River are protected within the USA National Wild & Scenic Rivers Program.River Flow Data.
